Remember I posted something about this a few weeks ago? A promo of YGGF,K. Well, it's the same seller. And check out how high the bidding has got. I'm beginning to think this guy is fucking people over.

Why? Looks like a radio single to me, and that would explain how he might have gotten a signed booklet too.

I just don't understand why people want radio singles so badly that they'll pay $36 for one.

The last one this guy posted was different... How'd he get two radio copies as well as two signed Greatest Hits?

Lots of times stations receive multiple copies. A big station could have 10 jocks on the label's mailing list. One jock could have given theirs to another because it didn't apply to their show, or what have you.

I think most of the bidding is just for the booklet.

I wonder how the "clean" version will sound. "Dance... dance" wouldn't sound as cool.

With the art, that actually looks pretty cool, but i wouldn't pay $36 for it. This makes me wish the band would still issue physical singles.

While I must say that this conversation has occurred at least 3 times that I can remember, I am yet to hear the edited version. Anyone know a link?

Exactly. I'll Be Waiting has some staying power because it was the first 7", the band and their friends glued the sleeves together, vinyl is rad, etc etc. If someone goes to sell this again later, they're not going to be able to sell it for $43.

tell me about it. I've only been able to find one copy of it anywhere lately and the bidding on that thing has gone upwards of $130. I saw one for sale a few years ago that went for around $80, but since then (especially with the new album) the prices for them have been jacked way up.

Maybe I dunno, I get like presents from Nitro sometimes and they contain like cds stickers and all sortsa shit, that's how I got it. I asked about it and the dude I know there said they had a whole bunch left over. So I said thanks, that's it :)

I don't think I've surfed the offspring webstore ever. Which is interesting enough in and of itself :)
