My trip halfway up my province to visit family is the equivalent of going from Dover, England to Thurso, Scotland.

You think your gasoline costs you? Hahahaha.

You live in a small country, life is easy. Well, at least easier. I guess in Canada we have the benefit of having an almost unlimited supply of lumber and water, though :D

You know gasoline costs about twice as much there as it does here, right?

But seriously. I don't think any uprising is going to have any effect on the price of things. It'd be rad if the global economy would stop shitting the bed, though.

To be fair, fuel prices are much higher in Europe.

That's why I am wondering why it is a problem. It all evens itself out. From what I have heard, though, driving halfway across town in Britain is like an impossible commute in the average mindset. So they probably pay even less.

...what? Why is what a problem? You were complaining that you have to drive really far.

And driving across town in Britain? It's going to depend on what city. Also, I guarantee you that anyone who lives in London or most other large cities in the UK spends a lot more money on transportation than you do.

"Something", huh? So what do you propose? Kill all the leaders? Start some fires? Beat up some children? Seriously, I'm asking you instead of mocking you here. What do you honestly want to do? Or do you think having a band is actually going to change things?

Yes, you said that in your first post. I am asking what exactly you think can be done. An "uprising" and a "revolution" are both very vague and generic terms to throw around. That's like saying "someone should do something about the fact that you're hungry cause there's no food in the house." The answer to how you would solve that is not "eat food", but "go to the grocery store and buy some food."

70 percent of my family lives in Glasgow. I have some idea of what I am talking about. Judging by your attitude, maybe more than you do.

I think we should join either the democrats or the republicans. The biggest threat to democracy (other than terrorism) is the couch!

I suggest we make it mandatory for women to be naked...

That'll do for a few weeks.

I have no suggestions in the long run tho.
