Latin America that is.

The US lost diplomatic ties with two countries in its direct zone of influence today. That's got to be a record. This is pretty serious this time, I think. Protests, coup attempts, assasination plots, dead people, pitiyankees, oil, ambassadors kicked out, CIA covert-ops, a regular Tom Clancy novel alright.

Chavez is pissed off like I've never seen him, he even cursed on a national chain (that's a mandatory radio-t.v. presidential address) and told the North-Americans to go fuck themselves.

Meanwhile, further south, Evo was fighting off a bunch of US-ass-kissing protesters trying to act like freedom fighters resulting in eight people dead.

The US is not paying enough attention to Latin America. They might lose this region too and simply reactivating the 4th Fleet is not going to cut it. My advise for them would be subtleness and pragmatism. I would definitely not want to be the next president of that country.

The only good Latin America is to US (what a cool pun) is as follows in order:
1. Jesus Statue in Brazil.
2. If the Day After Tomorrow were to happen, Mexico is warm.
3. Various other things I don't care to mention right now. In other words I don’t know much about Latin America…

Chavez is stupid, Morales is stupid...

but that's a hangover from CIA dismanteling Chile, Salvador, Argentina, and more, democratic socialist governments on the 70s...
