-Getting endlesst0m to leave the board because I told him to learn to read.
-More or less single-handidly making the Mountain Goats popular here.
-the time I had sex with JohnnyNemises.

When I made a thread for Sweeds back in the white BBS days and when I made a thread asking for the lyrics for The Blurb and people didn't get mad.

Free?

I felt proud of my first post several times. It was made at the time when Hammerhead just became available for download and everyone was guessing what was the song about. I gave it pretty precise explanation while quite many ppl posted (using Dexter's words from some interview) that HH is only about school shootings or war.
Also I'm glad about making RAFRAG covers thread, seems it was a great experience for some forum members

I've been momentarily proud of lots of things. But I guess making fun of people online loses it's interest after being the 50 billionth person to do it. That and my memory is complete shit.

However I could list off things I'm proud of in real life. Have I ever told you I use condoms and the pill? (tastes awful)

Ryder1234

Various little things. I am particularily proud of the RAFRAG covers I took part in.

False. I think.

Not false at all. I still remember it. It was fuckin' hilarious.

To be fair, this applies to everyone. But no one cuddles like you :D

I would say the You Got Served joke I made a while ago is one. I'd like to think that was my defining moment.

The one about Lodat losing his virginity? Yeah, that shit was fuckin' awesome.

Probably the day I put the link on my signature. Since then I ridiculously often use the phrase ''The link on my signature''. Or maybe I'm not that proud. It gets annoying as time goes.

My epic post of how punk wasn't really being punk and being non-conformist at all because you're conforming to what society dictates as being a 'punk non conformist' and watching as a bunch of tru punx heads exploded.

That and making some cool friends like Jacknife737 and Superdope. Also any sexual joke with JohnnyNem.

Yep, I came back. I just wanted a fresh start a while ago so I made a new name after I stopped posting here for a year or so. There's a few things I'd like to make people aware of, but I know how that'll end up and I don't care to get involved with that. That's all.

It's kinda funny how about 90% (slight exaggeration) of endlesst0m's posts were about how ridiculously hot 1565 is. And now...well, we know how different that is now. Time makes fools of us all! Let's try to get back on-topic though.

Another one I'm kind of proud of is the "What video games are you playing?" thread. Sure it's no Music Sharing thread or anything, but it's become sort of a forum staple. Well, not really, but the fact that it's still around says something.

I.... am not nearly as drunk as I used to be.

In fact, the excesses that accompanied me from 2005 until maybe 2007 seem to have vanished completely. I am no longer sustaining the drunk thread all by myself. Or at all.

Not something I'm actually proud of - but then again, I can't think of moments on this BBS that I am actually proud of having done. I think it's kind of weird and veering on irritatingly blogopretentious. I suppose if someone were to say "Oh man you're awesome" I'd feel some sort of pride, or if someone told me that I'd done something awesome some time or other - then I'd get that momentary boost in e-self esteem.

09-23-2008, 03:44 AM
I guess if nothing else I'm proud of every drunken post I've made here. I also recall a very positive reaction in the music sharing thread when I uploaded Army of the Pharaohs. I was pretty proud of that.

F@ BANKZ
09-23-2008, 08:53 AM
As an Offspring afficianado, giving The Offspring inspiration remaster Ignition (and Smash) and uploading Tehran and Crossroads '88. I also enjoyed my Bad Things thread I made when I had about 10 posts and the time in the longest cat thread (the cartoonish one), in which I made a misinterpreted sarcastic comment about how we were 'seriously supposed to believe it's real' The time when a member who I will not mention sent me a PM saying that it was nice how I tried to be nice to people and how I was their favourite member...I have a bad memory when it comes to BBS.

That's what made it so funny, that Dexter pwned Mark all by himself.

F@ BANKZ
09-23-2008, 09:42 AM
Well although Dexter did do it himself, JN set him up for it. It read something like (abridgedly):
Mark: And guess who's running this Offspring event which one day F@ BANKZ will forget and be unable to recollect.
BBS: Oh man! no wAy maaan.
JN: Looks, either Mark is running this thing or he isn't.
Dexter: ummm... No he isn't

If I were Johnny I'd take credit for that.

Edit: Wow, this post really sucks the life out of that joke.
