I wonder how far in advance they planned this. Cause everyone knew it was going to hit there, but yet the concert date was set before the hurricane hit.

before anyone makes a new thread

(10/06/08) Unfortunately, due to heavy damage at the Woodlands Pavilion concert venue from Hurricane Ike, local Houston radio station The Buzz and promoter Live Nation have decided to cancel the show there and hold a scaled down festival on the same date, October 26, at a new venue.

The new festival, The Buzz‘s “Better-Than-Nothing Show,” will take place October 26 at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston, TX. Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 AM (Central) via ticketmaster.com .

If you purchased tickets for the original date, BuzzFest XXII on October 26, in person at a Ticketmaster outlet, refunds are available where you bought them. Due to damages sustained at the Woodlands Pavilion box office, however, hours there are not certain — but the facility is aware of the situation. All phone and internet credit card charges will be automatically refunded to the purchaser‘s credit card immediately.
