Did anyone watch any of them? And if so, did you like them? Good or bad?

The death games are pretty entertaining, the other parts of the movie not really. I would still go see it though because the death games are usually really cool.

i liked the first one... it was pretty scary. the second one was OK... and then it all just went downhill from there. they should've just made one movie and left it at that.

I didn't care for the first one. The concept was decent enough, the idea of fucking with someone enough that they're willing to cut off their own leg is pretty creepy, but the execution was horrible. The character study aspect of it sucked and left you not actually caring for anyone in the movie which made it so that when the climax came it didn't really affect you (aside from the pure gore aspect of it). Plus the Scooby-Doo ending was ridiculous.

I guess the new one came out last night in theaters. I'd love to go see it. I'd have to say out of the 4, I liked #2 the best. Someone has to have brains in order to think up most of the contraptions used in the movies. It's amazing I think.

I've seen the first two and hated them; although to be fair, i hate most horror movies.

This whole "splatter/gorefest/torture-porn" thing doesn't really appeal to me.

I only saw the first and the second
I liked them But I think the second is better
I want to see the 5th in theaters but I can't find somebody to come with me
so probably I have to wait till it's out on DVD

I like it, cause I like the director, and of course first one was the best. But I think in the very end there will be some BIG surprise that will put all parts together, so I cant wait. And if not... never mind :) Its really scarry and I love it :)

I hate these fuckin' movies, mostly because it takes a premise with some potential and makes it so friggin' shallow and dumb.

I haven't watched any saw movie and I don't want to. I don't want to shit my mind with that, I'm pretty impressionable.
This:

This whole "splatter/gorefest/torture-porn" thing doesn't really appeal to me.
And also I haven't heard any recommendations from any person whose taste in movies I can trust, there are no such actors, I'd watch a movie because they are in it. So that's it. Dead end.

That's pretty much my opinion, too.

So what, you guys think after seeing the movie you might be compelled to kidnap people and set them up in overelaborate death traps while pretending to have some weak, pseudo-moralistic motive behind it all?

The good kind.

I seem to have this problem with most movies, but the Saw series is really predictable. It's like, the harder they try to have an epic twist, the more cliche and predictable it becomes. Though to be fair I've only seen the second and third installments.

the advertisments for the fifth one are saying something like you wont guess how it ends, it may be worth checking it out!

That just means it's going to be an even bigger Scooby-Doo ending than before.

That tells me one of two things. a) it is going to be another predictable movie b) its going to be fucking stupid and of course I wouldn't guess it.
