I thought I'd start one of these. I've been wanting to for a while, but now I have a reason.

Ever since I got my little Casio last week, I realized that MIDI + VSTi = endless fun, so I've been messing around a lot. I foresee this thread being a mixture of game covers and original tunes (should the inspiration strike me). I'm not a much of a musician/keyboardist/guitarist, but I'll be giving it my bestest. Here is a link to the project:

To hold you over, I present my first ever original--from about four years ago--called the Fruition. It's short and nothing special, but let me know what you think:

I'm one working on a cover right now. I should be done by tonight.

I've updated "The Fruition" (http://www.savefile.com/files/1907351) (same link). I ran it through some VSTis, so it sounds a little more realistic.

Okay, here's my cover of "Aquatic Ruin" (http://www.savefile.com/files/1908447) from Sonic 2. I've always loved that song. As opposed to the last one, I played everything here with my keyboard, except the guitars, of course. Enjoy.

Aquatic ruins : It's pretty cool, look forward to hear more sonic songs. Or even Zelda ones maybe... like the village in The adventures of link, that you like so much?

Thanks, ANDi! Same here. Luckily, I still have a Sega/Super Nintendo with some games, including Sonic 2.
