Anyone here a fan? Lately, I've been listening to a lot of their music, and I think they're awesome. The new one, appeal to reason, is pretty good. I highly recommend it to anyone. My favorite out of all of them is a cross between that and siren songs for the counter culture.

My favorite song by them is Life Less Frightening. Good song.

This thread should be merged with this one (http://offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35616).
My favorite album by RA is Siren Song Of The Counter Culture, Life Less Frightening and Injection are favorite songs, also State Of The Union for it's rawness and aggression.

Yeah, State of the Union is mad, I love the whole very hardcore approach to it, it's nice and angry.
My favourite song would be Like the Angel, I think. And I freaking love the intro the Give it All, it makes me wanna go wild.

I'm going to see them in 19 days, wooo:D

I also wasn't sure was i to post in this thread or the other one

I love Rise Against! They have the potential to be almost as good as The Offspring I believe. And they're coming out to Melbourne march 28th I believe, definitely going. My favourite song is 'Savior'. I haven't come across one song I don't like. All the songs have a particular style and the singer has a great unique voice and is good at both singing but also screaming, and all of their song has great lyrics.

I like them too, but my favourite song is "prayer of the refugee". "Re-education through labour" and "Give it all" are awesome as well.

RISE AGAINST WAS AMAZING!
Even better than The Offspring at Soundwave. Oh my god, I went there.
Bit disappointed they didn't play Savior, and that they played 2 songs I had never even heard of (I don't have the complete Revolutions Per Minute album), but all in all it was awesome. So glad they played Injection and State Of The Union.
Nearly lost my shoe like 10 times in the circle pits though :D

Yaya isn't it amazing that although Rise Against tours so often that they still have such passion and energy to their music live? And another thing, whenever I go to concerts now it seems like there is virtually no mosh pit anymore (ie. foo fighters, although still a great show) but Rise Against's floors still get pretty wild :)

Just a heads up, I found torrents for both Sight Unseen and Death Blossoms. If they turn out to be good (CD quality) copies I'll upload them later.

Unless someone already has, in which case: redundancy!

Turns out the two torrents were exactly the same quality as the copies I had already. But anyway!

They're releasing a seven inch with two unreleased songs on Fat Wreck.

Should be good, I guess.
