It's finally available on thepiratebay.org, and i think it's damn amazing!! so much better than, the last album, badass riffs, awesome lyrics, brutal drums & vocals so...fuck yeah!

Sounds interesting, yet somehow I miss Infest Papa Roach.
But I guess this will do very fine on mainstream radio.

dude, the riffs are totally like infest, no more gay emo lyrics and all that stuff, it's just brutal
EDIT: Nights Of Love and Carry me are kinda gay but the rest of the album rocks

I have found a review which pretty much sums all my thoughts about Metamorphosis and Papa Roach (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=882142)

I don't have much of a problem with Papa Roach, but I must say, that is a terrible album cover.

I think metamorphosis is a pretty clever name.

I listened through this 'thing' the other day and I truly disliked it and I've been a fan of Papa Roach since Infest. It's just that this album sounds just like the previous one (The Paramour Sessions) but worse. And that album already reminded me about every generic rock music out there so for me that makes Metamorphosis a copy of a copy of a copy which can't be good.

I'd rate their full-length albums like this:

1. Infest
2. Lovehatetragedy
3. Getting Away With Murder
4. The Paramour Sessions
5. Metamorphosis

So yeah... Time to quit.

(I did not mention the 1997 release 'Old Friends From Young Years' since I haven't heard it)

I used to really like Infest and Lovehatetragedy... I liked Getting Away with Murder when I first got it... but I just really don't like Papa Roach anymore. I know the song Hollywood Whore, and it's pretty generic meh.

That review was pretty good, but I didn't like the comparison to Nickelback. Papa Roach isn't good, but Nickelback is just absolutely detestable.

The album is a bit cheesy, but not that bad for a couple of listens. Still, from their newer work, I liked Paramour Sessions more.

I like the first four tracks, Live This Down and Into the Light. You could probably replace the worst tracks on Paramour Sessions with those and end up with a pretty cool album.

Infest is a guilty pleasure.

Everything else is so terrible.

I think Nickleback gets criticized too much they are a legitimate band and deserve more respect than they...pff! sorry couldn't do it without cracking up

Exactly my thoughts, except that i think State Of Emergency is amazing too, and so is Had Enough

I dunno, I think those are a bit too generic myself, along with March Out Of The Darkness and Carry Me.

Nights of Love, I'm kinda on the fence about. I need to re-listen that one. Lifeline is just terrible though.

(Also a fun coincidence; the last PR album had a song called "Forever." Then, the second In This Moment has a song called "Forever" and a song called "Into the Light." Then, Metamorphosis is released and is has a song called "Into The Light."

Then again, they are touring together, so is it really a coincidence? :P)

I never liked Papa Roach. I didn't like their rap metal days or any of their stuff. The new album sucks major. I heard it and I don't dig any of it.

Thats my opinion, though. To each his own.

Would anyone care to upload the album?

I kind of fell out of interest with these guys, but they do manage to put on a fun live show.
