The singer is hot, but their music never kinda got me.

If it weren't for the lead singers voice, I'd tolerate (maybe even like) them.

The only thing I like about Paramore is the lead singer and thats because she's hot. Other then that, the band border on generic to shitty band. It's better to watch them on mute.

Yeah, they're kinda catchy I guess, and I don't exactly hate them. I'd play a song of theirs in Rock Band, but you'll never see me download/buy an album of theirs.

I love playing Misery Business on GH: World Tour, and yes, the vocalist is hot!

I agree with Outerspaceman21, with the whole generic thing. They're a bit too pop, while trying to be rock. or something.

I like Paramore but after hearing their songs over and over, they start to get old. I can’t stand the whining.

I like Paramore, but I get where you guys are coming from. Judging by Decode and some interviews I've read, their new stuff is going to be a bit less pop, though, which is cool.

this is the Poison effect except with guys. We give the band a chance because the singer is fine (damn fine) and then grow to genuinely like the band because the music is actually pretty good, they're no Offspring but...

Bullshit. I gave them a lot of rope to try to pull me into liking them, but they failed. Their music is generic and the lyrics are just unimaginative. I'm normally a person who doesn't like to hate or dislike things, but I can't get into their music no matter how hot the singer is.

Punk rockish but popish with a little metal influence...

Yeah, there's no way in hell that Paramore is in any way metal

SK8rocka

Totally. They're about as metal as The Offspring are electronic new-wave Jamaican jazzy funk-rock. Or something.

I mean Instrumental Wise, Some of the drumming has Metal Influences, But whatever....

Yeah, just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're not metal-influenced.

It's a vague topic really. What's not metal influenced today then? Even Pink and Rihanna are at some degree. Stuff is so messed up.

Cbonham5

Maybe metal-influenced, but you could probably say the same for every musical artist in some way

Well, Offspring's style before their pop punk years was labeled "metal influenced punk", but Paramore... I would disagree and agree. From what I heard, they sound more alternative/pop influenced, but I haven't heard all their music.

I actually don't think Paramore is that bad, they're not metal (again, metal-influenced at most) but you can't bang your head all the time or you'll end up with whiplash
