It's been in the poll section for forever and it's not updated with RAFRAG songs. I think it should be fixed. Is it possible to create a new, updated and 'active' version of it? Can mods do that or should I send a message to administrator?

I do understand that mostly it depends on Dexter, does he want to/have time etc, but if things will stay as they are, there is no chance to see Dexter on RAFRAG song, so at least we should start with a proper poll-thread and let Mr Holland decide.

I would love to read Dexter's explanation about Half-Truism =].

Since search button gives me a fatal error at this moment, I'm starting possibly a clone-thread, sorry about that!

I agree that this is a great idea ... but honestly, the poll section has been like that forever and if it hasn't been changed by now, I seriously doubt that it ever will be.

Yeah I agree with both of you. And I really don't understand why there is a "poll" section but never anything on it, so we gotta keep doing all our polls on the other thread(s). What's the point of having a poll section if it's not used?

I believe that Gone Away is because everyone is interested in knowing who the song is about. Lightning Rod's lyrics are very dynamic and even I would like to know what the meaning behind the lyrics are and how all the lyrics fit into the song.

yeah and that would all be great if He at least would write something about the winner song!

probably "the end of the line" talks about the same person as "gone away"

I doubt Dexter's gonna write one on Gone Away. In my opinion, that's why he hasn't done one yet (Gone Away's winning right?). Don't get your hopes up, or don't vote for Gone Away.

EDIT: Apparently I voted for What Happened To You?... I think that was a waste of a vote haha

^My thoughts exactly.
Dexter has spoken about that song many times, and he claims it is just about loss in general. I don't think there is anything more to get out of him about that song, no matter if he told us the truth about the issue of the song.

I always had an impression that The End Of The Line had a strong military vibe. Loss of a brother in arms during war, something like that.

Yeah, but I would like to know if there is any kind of personal meaning to it.

This can be said for every song that Dexter ever wrote, not only specifically for The Meaning Of Life.

If you talked to me like that in person, I don't know what I'd do, but I can assure you it wouldn't be pleasant.

You are scaring me now. I'm afraid to actually talk to you in person. No, I don't talk like that in real life just here because I'm an Internet Dork!
