Apparently they refuse to name it after him though, settling with naming a Treadmill used to train astronauts 'Colbert'

NASA's retarded. Aren't they trying to rekindle public attention again? I mean ever since...

However I wrote in that I wanted it named Xenu.

Seriously, fuck Colbert. Serenity is the most fitting and superior name. The interweb would be a better place if 4chan, Colbert, and Ron Paul would gtfo polls.

Isn't that thing he was trying to get named after himself something they use to retrieve water from space?

i'm pissed i voted for him to get his name on that space modual thing or what ever it is, not for him to get a Treadmill named after him.

He won a race to name the newest danube bridge in Budapest after him... We sent our ambassador to tell him, we'd be happy to name it after him, but Hungarian law only allows us to name public shit after dead people :)
He didn't want the bridge so much after that =)

Or if respectable institutions stopped using internet polls for relevant things.

I don't think it is, but I'm not complaining that it turned into a joke.
