:( I already bought my tickets for Rock en Seine... Do you know if it is a festival or a real show ?

Seems like a "real" show.
I just have a question:
WHY COLMAR?

Wow, they've really changed the gear what comes to own indoor headlining shows... even though my country's LN said something different. Much better this way. :D

Well, you can expect some dates between that gap for sure. Otherwise it's starting to look like an almost ready schedule, which isn't good for Scandinavia.

I spoke with a friend who lives near Colmar and said that I had trouble understanding why they would play in Colmar...

She said that in august, there was the wine fair and apparently, this is a very important event. She said that great artists were performing during the fair such as Metallica and this year, Leonard Cohen and The Offspring...

So now we know why Colmar...

Oh man, its still too far! What's up with the offspring always going to the north of France? Don't they like the south? And the Provence and Côte d'Azur area? Cause if they came down south, not only would the weather and countryside be lovely lol but it would mean I'd be able to see them.... And as far as I know, they've never been anywhere south of Lyons. They've basically not bothered with the second and third biggest towns in France, and just stayed up north... Although I guess the Eurockéennes de Belfort is somewhere near Lyons... but still too far for me.

Thanks for the info though!

Just read in the news today that a man in the Haut-Rhin, very near Colmar, shot people last night because they were making too much noise.

Apparently, people don't like noise there.

Considering the kind of music that The Offspring does, I think it would be a lot safer for them to play this show in Paris... http://www.assas.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/edelweiss.gif

AH AH AH ! I just saw that there was Billy Talent right before the Offspring :D

Also, it seems that the concert will last a little bit longer than the usual rock en seine concert...

20:00 THE OFFSPRING
