Im sitting at between 52 to 56 percent in Socials right now. The exam is on tuesday, and I'm just wondering, I'll assume you can loose marks for failing or getting a bad mark for the exam, Im wondering how much you could loose? It's probably dependant on how much the exam is out of, but I'm pretty sure I wont ace it or even come close.

It's been a while since I've been in school Kev, but as far as I remember it was like 10-15% here in Ontario. I think it differs from Province to Province and State to State though.
Meaning that 10-15% is what will be subtracted from your final grade if you seriously bomb your exam.

I should study.

It really depends on how much your final exam is worth, probably anywhere between 15-20%. So, it's safe to say that if you utterly bomb your exam, you stand a good chance of failing the course. Start hitting the books, and not just for an hour the night before the exam.

You have a 52-56% in the class?? Unless you ace the exam, you're pretty much fucked, dude...

do ya'll go by a ten point grading scale or that fucked up one they use in most US grade schools where an A is 93+, B is 85-92, C is 77-84...etc?
study Kev. assume its worth 20% and you totally bomb with a 35. If you have a 52 that'll bring your grade down to 48 point something. But lets say you miraculously get a 95 on it. then that would bring your grade up to more than 60.
study your ass off.
