I am so sad I missed them at Summerfest :( :( :( I should've found a way to go...

And bands don't get their set lists cut off at Summerfest. Most headlining bands start at 10pm, and the grounds close at midnight... so they have two hours to play.

Huh? I never said they would... I was just responding to a post where someone said that maybe their set list was cut short cause it was a festival. I was saying they don't cut set lists at this festival; every headlining band gets 2 hours. I never said the Offspring would use that entire chunk of time...

On the past Personal fest in Argentina, the organizers sent to Offspring 1:40hrs to play but they only used 1:15hr, they are olders for play 2 hrs lol

Saw the Indianapolis show on Saturday.
Have never seen The Offspring live before. Probably one of the best (if not the best) live shows I've seen. The band was very tight, the sound was great, and there was a lot of energy from both the band and the crowd. The set list was typical for this tour. The song everyone voted for them to play was Gotta Get Away.

I took a friend with me who didn't know much about The Offspring, and who was a little unsure whether he would like them. We were dead center about 75 feet from the stage. When they opened with SIFU, I looked over at him and he had a big grin on his face, then told me it was a cool song. He was surprised that he recognized most of the music, and thought the stuff he didn't recognize like Half Truism and Bad Habit was great. When they played WDYGaJ, he looked at me and said, "I thought this was Puddle of Mudd".

I was sad to see the concert end. I've seen very few concerts where I've thought more than "Meh" afterwards, but The Offspring concert had me contemplating taking a road trip to see them again. On the trip home, my friend wanted me to put in RAFRAG so he could listen to it.

Things taken away from the concert:

The crowd was mostly ok. There were several idiots throwing water, beer and shoes. Not sure why anyone would grab someones shoe and throw it across the crowd, but I saw 5 or 6 go flying.

Mosh pits suck when they form next to you and you don't want to mosh.

After seeing how fast the drummer is and the energy he has to expend during the concert, it's no wonder that The Offspring have gone through more drummers than Spinal Tap.
