St-Ephrem-de-Beauce website: http://www.woodstockenbeauce.qc.ca/ (I know that ain't much, I have found nothing else yet...:o)

The whole schedule of concerts is on the website. We have the best program of the festival this year, with Pennywise and The Offspring, playing friday night at respectively 21h30 and 23h on the Molson Dry scene!:D
There's also before that there's an hommage at Nightwish and at Metallica.

Anybody's attending one of the two shows in St-Ephrem or Halifax?

I don't know, I never knew there was a Woodstock festival there before the Shit Is Fucked Up announcement ^.^

I just found out a little video (http://www.musiqueplus.com/video/index.php?id=1844)made 2 years ago, if you wish to see the kind of ambiance there (and for those interested in guys in G-Strings...) It's in french but images make you understand everything...
However I'm quite sure that a guy from MusiquePlus (TV chanel) will show up there to shoot the highlights of the interview for his program, 123 Punk!
I'll take a look at MusiquePlus website during the next days to try to find out some infos. I also guess he'll have an interview with Dexter and Noodles since he had been invited last summer at their studio, lucky boy !

Damn' I wanted so much to go at this show !!:(

Just found a press article in french:http://www.cyberpresse.ca/arts/musique/200906/27/01-879412-woodstock-en-beauce-the-offspring-en-cadeau.php

Dexter says (with joking, I don't know how to say that expression in english) that he hopes releasing, with a little luck, the next album in 2012. He says how he likes playing in Quebec with a francophone crowd ( and it's mutual; we always love to see The Offspring around here :) !) He also concludes by saying that he's really happy that he wrote 15 years ago and who are still requested today (Bad Habit, COAP, Self-Esteem, etc) will and hopes the heritage wll still be appreciated in at least 15 years from now :D

Hey I just remarked it was St-Ephrem-de-Tring written on the tour T-shirt, instead of St-Ephrem-de-Beauce. St-Ephrem-de-Tring disappeared as a municipality in 97' and joined St-Ephrem-de-Beauce ^.^

Incredibly lucky are those going there tonight!:(
It's been raining the whole day where I live, so I guess it's also still raining a lot up there at St-Ephrem-de-Beauce now. People are all soaked wet, especially those who have to sleep in their tents...

It'll be an epic and wet outdoor performance. Good luck to the band and I really hope they'll enjoy it a lot!

Wait a minute. We've seen numerous reports where he said that he expects the new album to be out 2010.

Yes I've been quite impressed also because I also saw that...
The reporter quotes Dexter, but I don't know how far we can believe her, since she writes a paragraph later that the band sold over 50 million albums worldwide...

He said yesterday at the acoustic show in Toronto that they will be releasing a new album in 2010.

I wonder if 50 million isnt true.... I mean, they had sold 32 million during Greatest Hits, right ? How about now, 4 years later with a new album and 2 albums remastered, I'm sure the number has gone up alot. Any info ?

I'm not the best with these statistics, but I saw that 50 million somewhere else also (on Loveline I think...) But personnally, without knowing, I would say maybe 40 million instead of 50 million. With all the pirating of music, I don't think they sold 18 million more CD's.

Hey finally, from what I read, there was almost no rain on yesterday, and over 50 000 people were at Woodstock en Beauce especially to see The Offspring :D I think they never had that much spectators in Quebec...(http://www.enbeauce.com/detail-actualite.asp?ID=13738 on 4th paragraph...) A human tidal wave for The Offspring is the name of the article

From what I read here: http://lejournaldequebec.canoe.ca/journaldequebec/artsetspectacles/musique/archives/2009/07/20090704-021318.html
They played more than 12 songs for over an hour (Pennywise started at 22h instead of 21h30, so it might have caused a delay there). There's also a nice picture of Dexter there, but I'm unable to copy it here...

The interview was with Greg, not Dexter. And Greg was jocking when he said that he hope to release next album in 2012. He said that Dexter already started to right basics about next album with Bob Rock.

I was able to see The offspring the last two times they played in montreal in 2004 and in 2005 but not this time. Maybe next time.

Awesome performance!!!

Oh, this indeed was an awsome performance!
Though Dexter kinda messed up the lyrics a bit during the bridge.

"I bet you'd only run if it were up to you decide" and not "I bet you'd only run if you saw what goes inside". But that's ok, Dexter. No problem, don't stop playing that song! This performance was freakin' insane!

Woodstock en Beauce was amazing, nice hot and great performances by Pennywise who finished with Bro Hymm before getting amazingly blasted by The Offspring. If you have a chance, youtube woodstock en beauce the offspring.

Amazing night, I would say close to 50000 people attending, mud everywhere, just great and Thank you Offspring for such a PARTY
