Here's the lead single, "The Fixer"

It took me a couple listens to like it, but now I REALLY dig it. It jumped straight to #23 on the alt rock charts and #22 on mainstream in it's first few days, so apparently people like it. It's very poppy, I kind of like the change.

This song is destined to be played on the radio every 15 minutes ad nauseum.

I personally like "Got Some" better, but I also enjoy this one.

Got Some is very Pearl Jammish. The Fixer is a bit different. I normally don't like most of their music that departs from the stadium sound of their first three albums, Yield, and this latest, because they're just weird with no hook whatsoever. No Code, Binaural, and Riot Act just weren't catchy at all except for two songs on No Code and Binaural. But this one has some hook to it.

I enjoyed Binaural and about half of Riot Act (although I didn't care much for Yield). I think The Fixer is a great song, but I like Got Some more, simply because it reminds me of the stuff from back on Vitalogy.

This song is sick, I really like it. I am seeing Pearl Jam in about a month, so excited! :)

I really wish I could go see them, but I'm starting college. Hello, 4 years of being broke + a decade of debt.

Yeah, I'm seeing them in Austin in October, along with Sonic Youth and I think the Toadies.

I would kill to see those bands. Although I only really know Possum Kingdom by The Toadies, Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth is one of my favorite albums ever, and Pearl Jam is just godly.
