The Download Status Bar is essential. I only have that and the StumbleUpon toolbar. I had more before I wiped my HD again a couple weeks ago. I've been meaning to do that or try to find new ones.

I like download helper, I also have one on my laptop that auto proxies websites or changes to https depending on your settings, forgot the name, but it's nice when you change between wireless networks, and some may have filters.

add-ons ?

You seriously don't know what a Firefox Add-On is?
Or am I the one missing something here? Because that just seems silly.

To be honest, the only thing I know about firefox is that I have less trouble with getting websites to work than I did with Safari. Anything beyond that is a blank space for me.

oh... that and its compatible with PC too

I'm 100% terrible with the internet. I can hardly ever find anything I need and it takes me an eternity to learn all the features of a website (it wasn't until the last 3 or 4 months that I learned to use things like specific forum and thread search). At least i'm better at it than my sister. I've come to accept my internet incompetancy for what it is. Everyone has their weak points. At least I don't really need it for much.

I once posted in the german offspring forum a message that was exactly the same as Beheaded's post three minutes later. 15 words word for word, letter for letter, space for space.

DNA
Download Helper
Fire FTP
FlashGot
Freecorder Toolbar
Google Gears
Hyperwords
meebo
The Browser Highlighter
Undo Closed Tabs Button (my favorite)
YSlow

I used to use Flashblock, but it would do what I set it to do, so I axed it.

I installed Ad-Block plus last night and it's just amazing. I feel so dumb for not using this earlier.

Oh man, I love add-ons. I need to check out some of the ones you guys are posting, but this is what I got:

AdBlock Plus
Googlepedia
Skipscreen
StumbleUpon
TabMix Plus
TwitterFox

Googlepedia is by far the coolest of them all, and Skipscreen is great for downloading stuff from Rapidshit and Megaupload. TabMix Plus took some getting used to, but I love it now. TwitterFox keeps givin' me problems, which means I read a lot less Twitter than I used to. AdBlock Plus is a must.

IE tab
Gmail checker
Tab aging

Those are the only ones I use. I've downloaded others in the past that I don't use.

- Entrecard Toolbar
- StumbleUpon Toolbar
- Tabmix Plus
- Twitkit (I never actually use this one, I always just have a tab with Twitter open)
- Colorful Tabs

And then I have Greasemonkey with various Etsy plug ins.
