Sucks. I figured the heavy censoring would disrupt it's flow, because the song is extremely catchy. My vote was for A Lot Like Me for 4th single :(

I can honestly say I've never even heard it on the radio. The Edge plays their songs, but haven't heard that one yet.

Probably the censorship has a lot to do with it. I'm sure it sounds like shit once it's censored.

Well, it was played on radios and it has a video. I'd assume that qualifies it to be a single.

This.

I have an email verification from KROQ that after you're gonna go far, kid, they just randomly started playing this cuz they liked it, until half truism finally became the fourth single.

it's redundant, because you are obviously quoting because "This" needs attention.. it would be OK I guess if it were used for emphasis and not dramatization.. it would be use a lot less and balance out healthier.. kinda like QTF I guess.

Omni, Oxy...get laid more :) "This" is internets slang, it's fine.

Untrue. KROQ plays whatever the hell they want sometimes. Isn't that how "Come Out and Play" ended up being a real single, because KROQ just started playing it? Videos are sometimes done for promotion - this video was supposed to come out before the tour according to Dexter's posts here. And it doesn't appear to have been produced with MTV or American TV in mind at all.

Yes, they did. That was before the end of 2008, then they started playing Half-Truism.

They also played the censored version during the Loveline interview with Dexter.

Why would they make a professional music video if the song is not a single, and the video won't be played on TV?

Sarah, I don't mean to question you because typically you have greater insight to these things than we usually do, but I didn't really get the impression that it was supposed to come out before the tour. It seems a little more fitting to have it as more of a closer to the US tour, since it reflects back on the tour promo video. Of course, you could be talking about a post in the mod forum that made you think otherwise and its just blended together with other public posts he's made.

They also played the censored version during the Loveline interview with Dexter.

It was really funny because Dr. Drew seemed so unsure about whether he should actually play it or not and asked Dexter if he would rather play Nothingtown like 3 or 4 times. I heard an hour segment of his visit to Loveline the other day in "The Best of Loveline" so thats why I remember this.
