What are some really good classic punk songs/bands. I'm talking black flag, dead kennedys, old descendents, the casualties, pennywise, old vandals, old rancid, fifi, union 13, nofx, old afi, anti-flags first 2 albums. Ya know, those kinda bands.

The thing about old school punk is that there can never be any new bands in the genre, thus there's a limited amount of material. In other words, you named off all of the staples, plus a few questionable calls.

Try Bad Brains. I like them a lot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsAgtViK3T4
Or Minor Threat.

You've placed bands that play pop-punk, hardocre, ska-punk, oi, street-punk in one category, kind of hard to understand what you want.

You have old punk bands like Black Flag, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Dead Kennedy etc. that are good, but you have some great punk bands that are from today. Like

Government Warning (http://www.myspace.com/governmentwarningrva), one of my absolute favourite bands.
Classics of Love (http://www.myspace.com/classicsofloveband), perhaps the band I listen to the most nowadays
Warkrime (http://www.myspace.com/warkrimerules)
Koro (http://www.myspace.com/realkoro)
Socialcide (http://www.myspaceprofiles.org/profiles/119455389.html)
No Bunny (http://www.myspace.com/nobunnylovesyou)
Human Mess (http://www.myspace.com/humanmess)
Also, the Observers (http://www.myspace.com/swallowaleadpilldown)
Punk is very much alive today, and many bands are making really great punk.

You know on second thought it might just be better to try and broaden your horizons.

i'd recommend the circle jerks. you could try listening to one of the punk radio stations here:
it seems to play a random song in a pop up every time you click one of the links

Well, I don't know if it fits into "real punk", but I have just discovered Sham 69 and quite like it. Maybe you could give it a go...

i'd consider most of the bands in the first post to be the ones i enjoyed before i discovered "classic punk" lol! ;) but i am going to second sham 69. a good single by them (amongst other things) can be downloaded at this site:

i like dead kennedys but they weren't really that good they got famous more for their name than anything else

some of those are good but you just can't beat :
Sex Pistols(their interviews were freaking hilarious also)
The Clash
The Ramones

Am I the only one thinking about an orchestra playing angry three-chords sloppy music when I read "classic punk"?
