Hey all. I've been working on an Offspring project which involves putting together the best of the best live songs. What do I mean by that? Well basically it means trying to get as many live songs as possible in the highest sound quality possible. Some songs are hard to find in good quality at all so that's where you guys come in. I'm looking for your help, suggestions of great live recordings is appreciated....help getting those recordings is even better.

So let's see what you guys think. What are your favorite live recordings? Do you happen to know of a song that is rarely played live and you have a recording of it? Why not share that bad boy?

I'm hoping that this project gets a lot of volunteers. I'd like to share the end product with all of you.

Ok.....GO!

Great.
But, audio or video?

This is a very cool idea, but, have you heard of the Shit Is Fucked Up Tour DVD project?
It's very similar to this... Help in that project would also be highly appreciated.

To my understanding, the shit is fucked up tour DVD project is a video collection of that particular tour, right? I suppose what I'm doing is somewhat like that. The 2 main differences would be that the LIVE project I'm attempting is all audio and the material is from all concerts that The Offspring has done.

Although this is an audio project, feel free to submit videos as well because I can always record the sound from those videos. Happy hunting!

I suggest http://www.theoffspring.us/files as a resource for some great recordings.

the wembley 2001 show was pro shot although i dont think a live cd or dvd was oficially released. its probably worth checking out some of those bootleg recording sites, you will have to pay for them but quality will be slightly better than the average person who attended a show!

The Wembley performance is the type of thing I'm really looking for. Glastonbury 1995 is also a good example. Does anybody know the entire setlists of these shows?

I'm currently searching for a high quality live version of "the noose" if anyone can help me out with that.

I already collected the best possible audio of all the songs. And I uploaded them all a bunch of times.

I appreciate the time and work you spent on uploading your collection on the forums. Do you have a working link to where I can download what you have of them live, a lot of old links are dead (feel free to PM me if necessary). The idea of this project is not so much to have every song they have ever played live in one compilation, but to have the best of the best (personal preferences of course) live material in one collection. Since you sound like you have everything, all I need to do now is to take a listen to everything and choose the playlist. Thanks for your contribution, it's always helpful.

Not too shabby, I might be able to use this. Thanks for finding it.

Alright, I'll upload it when I get home from school. It's 3 full CDs, about 70 songs.

Upon extracting Part 2, I ran into a corrupt file.

Offspring Live Pt2.rar: CRC failed in CD 3 - Catastrophic and not that tragic ...quality\11 - Kick Him When He's Down (Live).mp3. The file is corrupt

Could you check this track and see if it's ok on your end and upload it seperately if it works?
