Eddie Money (Clarkston, MI 2001)

3 Doors Down with Shinedown, Seether, Our Lady Peace (Lansing, MI 2003)

Nickelback with Trapt and Three Days Grace (Auburn Hills, MI 2003)

Kiss with Aerosmith (Auburn Hills, MI 2003)

Crossfade with Rev Theory (Flint, MI 2006)

The Offspring with Dropkick Murphys (Sterling Heights, MI 2009)

Green Day with The Bravery (Auburn Hills, MI 2009)

100 Monkeys (Novi/Detroit, MI 2009/10)

I hesitate to say so, but of all these shows Green Day gave HANDS DOWN the best live performance I've ever seen. The way Billie Joe Armstrong fed off the audience's energy was totally, completely insane. And I just bought general admission tickets to that show on a last-minute whim. Wasn't expecting that at all.

I've seen a shit load of bands, some great, some good, some downright awful.

But on Thursday passed, something magical happened. I seen the John Butler Trio for the first time, and every other gig I've ever been to became immediately irrelevent.

Absolutely outstanding.
