If you've never heard of it, go here (http://www.lovelineshow.com/pg/jsp/loveline/abouttheshow.jsp). It airs at 10pm-12am PST (West Coast), and if you don't have a radio station that airs it, you wanna check this link to the live stream (http://www.lovelineshow.com/livestream) out around 9:50. You can try to call in and ask the band something too. Just make sure that you call as early as possible and that it's interesting. Gustavo's gonna give it a shot. ;)

I'm pretty excited, as I started listening to the show the last time Dexter was on last year and I've listened to every show since. Interesting stuff.

They don't know if it's going to be Dexter or Noodles or both. But either way, hopefully we'll get some info on that new album and maybe more. Dr Drew has a new cohost who is a huge music fan, so I'm sure he'll grill them. Plus it's a two hour show, so something's gotta slip out.

Alrighty, will do! Though, I get the mp3 from an official place, I won't be recording it myself.

Heh, I guarantee within the first ten minutes of the show, one of the hosts will talk about the Almost Acoustic Christmas thing in the '90s where the Offspring almost rocked hundreds of people to death. They talk about it every time and they always refer to it as 2-3 years ago, when it was like 1998.

I'm listening to the show online, and it's kind of breaking up sometimes, and it kind of was breaking up when they said that, so... They might as well have said something completely different and that was what I got out of it, but they did say they had already mentioned the name once, so... I'm not sure anymore.

Actually, the quality of the stream is only getting worse here :(

EDIT: I certainly got the wrong name then, are you guys listening to the show online? Are you guys having any sort of problem with the stream? It keeps breaking up here

Man, I figured trying was a lost cause. I can't believe both of you got through... is that common?

Well... yeah, probably. I didn't listen to this one, but it's almost always a handful of people calling in to ask questions about sex and a couple who call to talk to the guest(s). I don't imagine they get too many to take too often, especially if it's something interesting to ask the guest, instead of the same sex questions they get every night.

Heh, can you honestly say he's worse than Stryker? I personally really like Psycho Mike, but there are some who can't stand him and some who have come to like him.

Anyway, I'm glad so many people listened and that two lucky bastards got through! And I'm surprised they played two songs. They don't usually do that when a band doesn't have new stuff. Can't wait to listen.

Well, its understandable that you would be less jealous about his opportunity to talk to the band. You had yours already... and all you managed to say was "huh huh huh yeah" when dexter commented on your smash shirt.

Dirceu, Santo André: Would you guys like to release a live album?

Dexter: You know, we almost put out a live album a few years ago, and we didn’t because I think it should be special, it shouldn’t just be us playing our songs live, it should feel like an event, you know… like, I don’t know what that is, Kiss live, they had a big drum solo, or whatever that might be and stuff. I didn’t feel like we had that ready at that time, some day I’d like to, but it has to be something special before we put it out.

Maybe something special like The Offspring live in Brazil, I don’t know, something like that, maybe.

I agree with you!

Same here, man! I remember they took my call like in the middle of Hammerhead, and I had like 1 minute or so untill I was on air, I tried to remain calm, but after I said "Thank you", I totally freaked out.

SAME. When the Operator was finished with the screening process and he said "just turn your radio or whatever down. And don't forget Noodles is here! Have fun." I was like "!!!!!!!!JHSDHLSDHKL:HJDKLJH!!!!!!!!klfhlkefklajfgk j WHAT!?" OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Thats the best way to describe it.

OMG, it was so annoying to listen to all those people askin sex stuff...Because so much stuff sounded familiar? It's okay to like your own fluids. Really.

:)

Nah, I enjoyed everything, I enjoy how the hosts are often making fun of the callers in some way. But what I loved most is that damn sexy voice of Gustavo. Really awesome that the band knows him as a huge Offspring fan. I also enjoyed Dexter's and Noodles' inability to give sex-advice.

I enjoy listening to Loveline. I'm a HUGE Dr. Drew fan, so it's like seeing my two favourite things come together when Dexter and Noodles are guests.
You learn, you laugh, it's all good. :)

If we're living in a world where a girl who likes her own fluid is considered to be weird or gross, I don't want to live in this world anymore >:

And Tijs, we all know that the person with the sexiest voice in the world is you. :)

I'm with you on this one ... it was like blah, blah, blah *get to the good stuff already ... The Offspring* I will confess though, some of the sex questions were quiet amusing.

Finally got around to listening to this. Sooooooo boring! What was that bit about the girl with red dots anyway? And Dexter? (or a Dex sound-alike??) gave out advice to farm someone out? What was up with that? Soooo strange... hmmm.............................................. ........

Anyways, the only bright spot was the joke about the obsolete oil rigs and how it would be cool to turn them into gambling casinos - then someone (Noodles?) said they could be turned into brothels instead, giving new meaning to the slogan, "Drill baby, drill" LMAO!! :D Meh I have to wonder - was it worth 2 hours of my life to hear that joke? maybe ....:p

Yeah, the Loveline before in 2008 was better. Ah wells.

don't think i understand what you're cryptically attempting to insinuate... :p

that and I don't see how it relates to my comment up there^ but if you're trying to expand on all the topics of the Loveline show by including the talk on 'buttering one's own corn' then that might get you into trouble around here, well at least 1/2 of the time, because the general temperature of this site's gala makers appears to run hot and cold re the subject... :p

Wasn't Dexter and Noodles on Loveline a while ago? This one just made me chuckle a little bit. Dr. Drew is a great persona. Everything was nice and funny. :)
