An integer is a whole number. But it's not a whole number, because it has a decimal.
And what do you mean, is it a real number? It's not a mirage.

Nothing, you watched too much TV and they entered that in your head. Don't believe what they say!

BTW - real numbers are all rational and irrational numbers; any number that can be written using decimals.
So then 2.68 would be a real number correct??

Uhh.. I suppose so.
Why do you need to know, anyway?

It's a rational number. Which is a sub-category of real numbers.
How old are you?

it's rational, it's real, it's surreal, it's.. um... ok, i guess that's all the common sets of numbers it's part of.

Is 2.68 a Real number, whole number, natural number, integer, or rational number???
It's a real number.
Process of elimination:
- Not whole because of decimal.
- Not natural because a natural number is any of the numbers 0,1,2,3,4, that can be used to count the members of a set; the nonnegative integers.
- Not integer because of decimal.
- not a rational number because a rational number is any real number of the form a/b, where a and b are integers and b is not zero.
Hope that helps.
EDIT: I know it's already been answered but i'm right and i just wanted to answer anyway.
