I don't know if it's only me who noticed this but Greg K. started using Fender Precision basses (in 2010 videos). I think it's pretty awesome. I hope it's a permanent change because I never really liked the tone of Ibanez basses. P-bass is THE punk bass.

Yeah, it does look like it. Who knows, maybe he's just trying something new.

Personal, I love the Ibanez ATK basses he uses. Fender is good, but I've never been much of a fan of fender guitars.

He returned to use fender since 2009...
and he is not on the Ibanez website, but neither is on the fender page
fender sounds good but i prefer the ibanez ATK and RD

Ibanez never listed him on their website, so thats nothing new.

I like the Jazz bass fender makes, but as far as bass guitars are concerned, I'm not an expert. More of a Regular Electric Guitar man myself.

It's not that I'm a huge fan of Fender, I also like Ibanez, Gibson and other brands but as far as basses go, I really like the "piano string" sound Fender basses produce.

Don't get me wrong, Ibanez ATK basses are great, extremely versatile basses but in my opinion you can't quite get the punk tone using one of those ;)
