the tenth anniversary of the day when Conspiracy of One was released here in Slovakia.

Useless thread, but I wanted to let you know I'm still alive.

Discuss.

You should "not" commit suicide today in honor of that. ;-)

That's right... For a while "someone" leaked one song at the time every other day or so. Those were exciting times!

I can also relate to all of you. Hell, I can even remember the end cap that I picked it up off of at my local Target after school. My friend and I went together and picked it up at the same time and we must have listened to it at least 10 times that day. I was 13 at the time.

When Co1 was released I was 9 years old and I have no idea what I was doing then. Listening to Britney Spears perhaps.
I envy all who were waiting for new album and it turned out it was ixnay or americana or co1. srsly.

Wow...

For me the coolest memory of that era is that one dark Friday night, when Original Pranskter was put on the official site for a free download and world premiere. Oh man, the first listening of the song... had been waiting for it some time to come out, and then it came. Listened quite some times in a row, must tell 'ya.

The album got leaked way before its release... by that time I had so slow internet connection (and expensieve the more time you spent there) that I had to ask on the BBS what songs do you recommend me to downlod. I downloaded maybe 5-6 songs, so I didn't fully spoil my listening experience when I picked it up from a store.

Some time went on and they started to drop out tour dates in Europe. Being quite young by that time, my heart almost stopped when Finland appeared on the tour list. It was nice. Especially because the gig was only 6km from my house. The show was maybe the most memorable ever. Here's All I Want (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLDbfCW4YUY) clip of it.
