Ron was 16 when he joined the band. And Noodles is 8 years older than Ron, so that means Noodles was 23 or 24 when Ron joined. Man, I'm that old now and I can't imagine playing with someone that young.

I'm 25 and I can imagine playing with a 16 year old. Especially a drummer because they're typically in the back doing their own thing.

Yeah, I wish I could have been 16 at the time, But then who would have bought the beer?

A mutually beneficial relationship.

And honestly, what could be more important than that? :)

I used to play with a drummer 11 years older than me. It felt kinda weird in the beginning, but then I got used to it. It's all about the music after all!

The last band I was in, I joined when I was 19/20, the singer was 27, the bassist, his brother, was 32 and the drummer was 39. Age doesn't matter in music, ability does.

When I'm 60, I'll happily jam with a 10 year old, if they are a good musician, and believe me, there are 10 year olds who are better than any of us will ever be.

Ron is 40 now, and Pete is 36. So, Pete is 12 years younger than Noodles. (Thank you WolframAlpha.)

In my band currently, the singer and lead guitarist are both 35, and I'm 24.

I think its only a big deal if you chose to make it one. if you have enough common interests like the music you play, it shouldnt be too much of an issue.

I'm 23 now, and in my band I'm the oldest, and my drummer is 16! hahaha
Just like Offspring :P

In the other band of mine, Guitarist is 45, me 23, and drummer is still 16, and we rock all the way!
