I saw them live in Chicago with Against Me, good times were had, bought the new album and i'm really happy with it. Anyone else have thoughts on the album?

I finally picked it up today, and enjoy it quite a bit.
My interest in the band had kind of waned in past few years, but i think this release has been one of their most interesting efforts. Songs like Memorial Day and Take Em' Down are just ridiculously catchy.

I saw Dropkick Murphys last summer, and going to seem them again next month. I have not yet listened to the new record.
But might do so later on Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/album/0vQuLAQcz7L7zjDOiC7DQC

I enjoyed all the bagpipes, and I dislike the slow songs. But overall good.

I liked it, but i'm not too crazy about it. Ken Casey needs to let Al sing more, as much of a good and distinctive voice that he has, he also plays bass, Al does nothing but sing, give the dude more shit to do. It's got this weird sound to it, I don't know how to explain it, but it just sounds different. I'd probably give it like a 6/10.
