Was 10 years old: i think it was in June of 1999 at a friends pool party: he had the Americana singles playing on repeat his stereo and i got hooked on Pretty Fly and Get a Job (funny enough, i was convinced that the "say no way" part of the chorus was actually "sail away"): anyways, next day i picked up the album, and I quickly switched favorites to Have You Ever and She's Got Issues.

I'm pretty sure it was at my cousins house. Her and her husband are into punk and shit. Anyway, I vaguely remember playing Ocarina of Time while listening to the Offspring. I couldn't tell you ages or dates, I have no fucking clue how someone can be like 'the Summer of '98' or 'I was 12'. But that is besides the point. I was pretty young, the Nintendo 64 was hot shit, I was running around Gannon's Castle doing the Temples even though they had already been done, and listening to Americana.

I clearly remember watching Pretty Fly and Kids aren't alright on "Le boulevard des clips" when that was released but I am a hundred per cent sure I already knew the Offspring before that...

So no, I don't remember...

But I've been a fan for about 2 years and the first song that got me hooked was Nitro.

March 1995 MTV EUrope self esteem.. I was watching it with my sister.. I wasn't impressed with the intro, I thought it was some "hip forced" alternative rock shit at the time..

Summer camp in 1995. I was 7 years old. Older kids were listening to "Bad habit" all the time and I enjoyed it too.

November or December 1998 Pretty Fly on MarkÝza. Yes, I rarely watched slovakian TV at that time.

first time i heard them i was about 6 or 7 year old. it was "Come out and play". i didn't know it was them until later. i was about 10 when i really got into them, when Americana was released. I saw the Pretty Fly video and pretty much fell in love, haha.

Pretty fly. I heard and saw the music video and I was hooked from there on out. I was about 8 or 9.

It was 1994 for me. I was 8 and my cousin who was five years older got Smash. He told me to listen to Self-Esteem because the intro was funny and it was a good song. I wasn't too big on it - I still usually skip the song - but I really liked Smash, the title track. I never really listened to them again, though, until 1998 or so, when I was in junior high.
