What's the consensus here on this band, Useless ID? Has anyone heard of them? I only know a couple songs by them, but I really like both of them:

At Least I Tried (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyHfExnykBw) --- this song just kind of popped up on youtube right when I really needed to hear it, so I kind of have a good memory of finding this one :D

State of Fear (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKhihqT0raQ) --- their song from Rock Against Bush Volume 2.

What say you, BBS? Pass or fail? I give a "not sure," leaning towards "pass" but unable to say for certain till I hear more material.

EDIT: Completely irrelevant but still very interesting to me, I just found out they're an Israeli punk band. Not exactly the first place I think of when I hear "punk bands." Ya learn something new every day :o

That band is way too poppy for me, and the first song made me nearly vomit. I couldn't even finish it. For me, the band fails so hard its members shouldn't be allowed to ever produce music again.

Wow....lots of hate for teh pops, eh? I guess it's because I grew up listening to pop-rock and folk-rock, but I kind of have a soft spot for poppier rock songs.

Just what the Norweigan gutt (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/gutt) said. To much poop.

I used to listen to them a lot. They remind me of No Use For A Name a bit, they are nice to listen to. "Redemption" and "The Lost Broken Bones" are the records you need to check out if you like them, probably their best work.

Admittedly, i was initially drawn to the band due to the novelty of their origins: it's not exactly every day that i hear an Israeli punk band.

That said, my exposure to their music only goes as far as the track they had on one of the rock against bush comps: they remind me a lot of that 90s epitaph/fat wreck stuff. Any recommendations as to which album i should check out first?

Edit: I missed the post above mine! I think i'll check out "The Lost Broken Bones" since i like that title the most.
