Kudos, great talk.

Special Delivery is such a fun song to play live, I donít know if itís such a great song to listen to but when we used to play that one live, we really went over really well, but nobody knows that song so yeah...

Special Delivery is such a fuel and psychotic in funny way, one of my favs,I love it, play it.

Ok, you listened to it on the internet?

Great interview! Thanks for posting that. Damn, so much time and only 4 songs recorded.... oh well. It's always worth the wait. Just hope we get a new live song to make the wait easier.

Yeah, man. Really nice interview! I like how you gave him a second chance to talk about New Song #2, but didn't push two hard when he didn't talk about it. Would've loved to hear some insight on it, though. And too bad the rain started when you asked about Dirty Magic! I would like to know what's going on with that once and for all. You asked good questions.

Yeah, I know we're both excited for the new album, but if memory serves, The Offspring had also started recording Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace in 2006 and it didn't finally surface until 2008. Bands these days earn a living on the road playing live and even earn a living at home or some jobs supporting and raising families (I know many of the members of The Offspring are married and have children). This is one reason why new Offspring material can be worth the wait. I'm pretty sure the new album will come out when the band is ready to release it.

I'm quite sure that everyone in the band is financially set for life, along with their children and their grandchildren. These guys have sold 32 million albums. Not to mention Dexter bought a fucking fighter jet haha. Aside from Gringo Bandito and Nitro, there aren't any "side jobs" going on. I'm getting a little restless waiting for the new album, but I know getting upset won't make it get here faster. It will be here soon. Now they are pretty much done with the tour, they should be able to put a lot of work into the album and hopefully have it out in the first quarter of next year.

Me too. And apparently it is taking longer than RAFRAG. I remember they started work on it in 2009, then 2010 and then this year.

Good interview. As for the album release date...I remember Dexter was interviewed on 102.1 the edge in Toronto back in 2009. He said the band was going to put out a new record in 2010. I laughed so hard. Some of you actually thought the new record was going to be released in 2011? Come on...

Nice interview: one of the better ones i've seen recently.

Still hoping we get to hear that alternative dirty magic at some point.

I think they will only release new album in 2013, because Dexter is into Mexican stuff and according to the Mayan Calendar, the world will end in 2012. So I guess He is waiting if that happens or not. I don't think he would want to have all that work on recording an album and few time after that "hasta la vista baby" without time to generate profit.
