Morton's toe (or Morton's syndrome, long toe) is the common term for the condition of a shortened first metatarsal in relation to the second metatarsal. The condition may or may not result in the second toe (second from innermost) extending farther than the hallux if the second toe is of equal length to the big toe.

Yeah, my second metatarsal seems longer that my big toe.

I can post a picture of my left foot if you want before I clip my toe nails. But if you want this thread to be minimally interesting I better not.

No, I don't have that. I had to look on my feet to check it. I should know, I guess. No I didn't really had to. But I looked anyway. That's my story.

Actually, it's a tie.

I have crooked big toes.

When I was younger, my friend suggested I rubber band them to the bed post when I sleep. I didn't try it.

My sister made up a character called "Tooked the Crow" to make fun of me.

I've always thought that it probably affects my balance.

If it only seems, it's probably not a syndrome, unless it's like one knuckle longer like in the pic. 2nd one can seem longer because of a weird angle...they are about the same...
