I don't get it when mario makes threads like this? In the original post, he said he'd consumed some alcohol, a bunch of marijuana, and a little bit of cocaine. Then he edited it. He seems to do this a lot... and I really don't get it?

I would have smoked some weed last night, but my friend was out. We have to wait until his roommate gets back from Nevada.

I just found out yesterday that prescription drugs are not really prescription drugs in Canada since you can buy them without a prescription. What do the canadian people on here have to say about that?

Most countries don't have the same drug laws. There are certain drugs you can get over the counter in the US that you need a prescription for in Austria, Czech and Slovenia... and most of them I really can't believe you need a prescription for. Examples: Hydrogen Peroxide, Nyquil (which is actually illegal in some EU countries... wtf), and Melatonin. I dunno which drugs you're talking about in regards to Canada, but from what I've experienced, the EU tends to restrict things for reasons I can not understand.

It depends on the drugs; there are certainly some things that you need a prescription for.

I can totally see why Nyquill is an over-the-counter drug in some countries. It's a pretty big recreational drug for some high school age kids who are too scared/stupid to buy weed.

Also, along with the rest of this thread, I just bought some the other day and my dude gave me extra just because he had just enough left over that wasn't enough to sell for over 10 bucks. So I may be either chilling and listening to Yo La Tengo later or watching some MST3K.

Good night bros.

Really, Melatonin needs a prescription in the US? Anyway, yeah... there are some rescriptions in the EU that seem not necessary, as well as the US-American examples that you mentioned.

It depends on the drugs; there are certainly some things that you need a prescription for.

Maybe I got it wrong, but I thought that you could (even though not advised by doctors, of course ;) ) get hard drugs like Benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax), Viagra and similar stuff and steroids without prescription. Is that true?

No, Melatonin needs a prescription in some EU countries. It's over-the-counter in the US.

Jakebert, I think maybe you meant you understand why it's prescription-only in some countries. Anyway, maybe I could see that, but it's completely illegal in some countries, too. That I do not understand at all.

Hydrogen Peroxide in higher concentration? 3% for prescription is impossible.

I consumed a beclomethasone with a formoterol today, I could breath all the air. It was great.

Am I the only one who thinks 5 Hour Energy kind of sucks? I mean, it's okay, it's just kind of disappointing. I always wish there was something that could just shock me to life.

It works for me most of the time, especially right before I go for a run. Although I've never just drank one in the morning before class or something.

I drank it a lot this summer when I started training to run in some 5Ks. I've been weening myself off of it though because that much caffeine and sugar on a regular basis is really bad for you.

The first time I had 5 Hour Energy, it worked as advertised. I was also incredibly irritable. I think pretty much every time after that, it was comparable to a cup or two of coffee.

Apparently these work pretty well, and are relatively cheap/better for you. But the energy is more subtle. It sounds good, but I want more of an immediate rush.

^ That looks like it'll taste disgusting.

My drug of choice for an energy rush is as always, Starbucks Venti Americano with an extra shot.

To be honest, i haven't had any personal experience with any of those.

But after a bit of googling, it seems that I would need a prescription to get those if I were to go to a "walk in" pharmacy down the street. But i could probably buy them from a Canadian based "online pharmacy" without a prescription. The legality of these online stores seems to be in sort of limbo/up for debate at the moment.

At this point when I need caffeine I just drink black coffee. On one hand, I've been in the process of losing weight and black coffee is healthier than soda or sugary Starbucks type drinks. Plus, I watched Twin Peaks for the first time a few months ago and I just wanna be like Dale Cooper.

Wow. It seems kind of weird that one would need a prescription to walk into a pharmacy, but none to just order those off the internet.
