People on YouTube are arguing that it's 16-bit

Whatever that means

People are arguing that if it sounds like if it's coming out of a NES or SNES.

I could vouch for it being 8-bit. I didn't hear anything too fancy.

Totally. There may be some post-8-bit effects like reverb on them, and there may be more than five tracks of instruments (NES was only able to use five), but it's definitely all 8-bit sounds that they're using.

EDIT: Oh, and cool! NES is my favorite era of game music and this person did it and The Offspring proud.

Yep. Why do a bluegrass tribute or string quartet tribute? Same thing in my mind.

Yep they should be proud that someone did this! I love music from the nes era as well!

Cause it doesn't sound good ;) ... but as they say: To each his own!
