This is my green tree frog.

http://www.cutehomepets.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/housing-green-tree-frog.bmp

She treats me with total, unreserved love and clambers fruitlessly and undignified against the glass to be near me, until she finally realises I'm not going to open the tank and pet her, at which point she sulks for days on end.

She gets very territorial and aggressive to literally anything else she comes across, screaming and jabbering and blowing herself up to look bigger, but if they make the slightest move back at her, she hops away quickly and makes weird ribbeting sounds begging for protection. Then when the danger has passed, she pretends like it never happened.

She's very affectionate and friendly. Whenever there are new people in the house she presses up against the glass to present her underside to everyone. I've figured out that it's her way of demanding attention.

Post pictures of your pets, hopefully with some cute stories to go with them.

I have an ovcharka that didn't see any sunlight yet since the day I bought her. I keep her in the barn of my attic for almost 3 months now and fed her with raw meat ever since and beat her with chained strap every now and then. I'm afraid she won't welcome flash photography so I cannot post a pic of my sweet tzarevna.

You can't lock a dog that size in an attic, especially on a raw-meat diet. Her wastes will burn into the wood and you'll have mildew set in. Learn to neglect your dog properly.

I'll definitely take that in consideration, thanks. See, I was estranged from animals for last couple of years and I was more into cats back then.

I had a strange habit of fooling the cats with Whiskers or any kind of that stuff and throwing them into highway. I might have seen 15-20 cats romping with heavy truck wheels and stifling exhaust smoke.

Now I raise my last one to release one day in front of an unowned cat and record what happens, but I'm also very scared that she has become a killing machine already.

Overall, my household contains 6 dogs, and 3 cats..

I've actually reached a point where whenever an ASPCA commercial comes on (You know the one I'm talking about. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gspElv1yvc)), I just smile, and say: "F*** you.".

This is my dog, Tommy.

http://www.photographyschoolsonline.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/animals5.jpg

He recently got into my bag of coke, and strew it all across the room, so I taught him a lesson. He's having problems seeing and hearing now, so I don't think he'll mess with my shit anymore. A lot of my friends have said he's a lot nicer now than he used to be, too. Except whenever he sees any fire. He freaks out and causes a huge scene. Annoying.

But he's really smart. He does a lot of adorable tricks on command, and brings me the newspaper every morning.

I have 2 cats, and sometimes I wish I had a teak tree floor. I forgot to add playing with them into sports.

I have a soft spot to octopuses. They're awesome. They're like sea cats.

That is not a dog's name. You are so silly! :-)

I'm still having trouble with this photo thing, but I do have a cat. He's quite overweight but he has a really handsome face.

I used to have a Belgian Malinios (kinda like a German Shepherd) but he died in '05

Lots of cat people ;)

I have two cats too - nothing highbred like Siamese or Persian ... but I actually like Chartreux cats a lot.
The older one is 20 yrs. old and the "younger" one is 18, both male (I've never liked females - they're too bitchy) :p
Guess I'm pretty lucky because both are doing ok though the older one is starting to get a little arthritis - so I gotta keep an eye on that.

This is my beloved cat, Inka, first cat I've ever had. She died in September.

http://i398.photobucket.com/albums/pp67/angry_ala/DSC01986.jpg

Now I have another cat, Benjamin.

http://i398.photobucket.com/albums/pp67/angry_ala/250220124172.jpg

Although they look similar, their characters are totally different. Inka was a smart aristocratic lady, looking down on most of things and people, perfectly aware of the fact that she was the queen of the house. Benjamin on the other hand is a silly boy, eager to make friends with anyone who wants to play with him, easy-going but also naughty.
I also used to have a hamster, a mouse, a turtle, parrots and fishes.

Oh yeah i should also mention that my cat is a Siamese. But not one of those hideous ones.

Now I'm going to experiment with photos on this site again.

He doesn't look like this:

But looks like this:
http://0.tqn.com/d/cats/1/0/s/J/3/Shadow600x516.jpg

Except for he looks a little older and has more fat around his gut area.

You ruined it by posting that stupid old 'ugliest dog ever' picture from google images, when you could have posted about any number of the subhuman slavic animals you live with.

Pets are the cutest when they think they're people.

from google images,
I did no such thing!!

You really want more cat pictures in this thread? Well, okay.

Here's my Czech cat, Pilina, balancing on top of the shower because she always has to hang out up there when I'm showering. Because she can never be alone.

And there she is again.

Oh, and this is my Ukranian dog. She was a rescue. I found her on the side of the street, with the saddest, most pathetic eyes I've ever seen. I'm a total sucker for an animal in need, so I couldn't help but take her in. She was malnourished and rather underweight, but seemed resistant to eat the food I offered her. I later found out that she chooses not to eat much at all. It's really weird. When we go to the dog park, it's almost like she's proud of being a skinny little bitch, parading around the other dogs and giving them what I can only assume are looks of condescension.

Oh, her name is Maria.

this thread makes me squeal. I have a fish called King Agamemnon. I sing love songs to him and it's the only time in his day he's not trying to attack glints of light in the water or the filter hose. He hovers around appreciating my sweet honey voice singing "Send Me The Pillow That You Dream On".

he looks like this:

This was my cat Nubz, he had half of a tail that I can only guess was lopped off by a previous owner. He was a rescue cat, he was always "SPECIAL" almost as if he was autistic all other cats hated him and picked on him. He was diagnosed with a "liver shunt" which is pretty rare in cats, which caused him to go into catatonic states in which he would salivate and stare into space for hours. His diet didnt help and surgery was too expensive and complicated so I ended up having to put him down. I miss him he was definitely an odd duck but a sweety pie.

Video of his clumsiness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1Bt6RqJvL8)
He did that 10 or more times before he finally gave up, silly cat!

I also have a turtle named Princess, I've had her for over 10 years now, I however dont seem to have any pictures of her online. Maybe I'll post some later.

This is Axel. He's a border collie, almost 13 years old now. Now he's passed his best years when he ate small white couch doggies for breakfast, and accepted challenges of multiple great danes at once. He never won that, but never backed off either.

The other dog is Bennie, he was with us for a few months until he was about 1. He turned out to be a bit retarded, but he had his balls chopped off and is being trained to herd sheep and is living with the shepherd.

I can't stand big dogs most of the time. They get in the way, want too much attention, jump on you, and possibly my least favorite: stare at you the ENTIRE TIME you're eating food. I don't get the mentality of people who like really big dogs. There's been a few exceptions over the course of my life. Seems like you can train a dog to the max, but they're still inherently obnoxious and attention craving creatures 90% of the time.

I don't care if the damn dog listens when you tell him not to jump on me. I just don't want him fucking jumping on me in the first place.

Pomeranians are the cutest small dogs.

Disagree.

The only thing stupid about it is the fact that llamas stopped doing laundry to type it out.

I like the fact that larger dogs require constant attention. I always feel way more attached to them. I guess it's just a personality thing. I know some people who love small dogs.
