So the Crucible is underway and it's been a great tournament as usual. Arguably the finest man graces our world today, Stephen Hendry had an outstanding performance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73Vd6SnP7A8) so far, heading to QFs after many years. Ronnie seems on form and keeps rag-dolling Williams at 2nd round. One of my favorite players, Matthew Stevens has some hard time against Hawkins, 8-8 now but I think he'll advance. One of the surprises for me is Ryan Day rolling still after crushing two far-easterns, and of course Mark Allen who had an unfortunate exit (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJoGD3D4ZI8).

Well well, Carter upsets Trump as he advances in decider after trailing 12-9. Trump deserves more let downs with that hairstyle though. Stevens advanced as well and will face countryman Day. It would be a quality match if Stevens meet either Robertson or O'Sullivan in semis and I think he's capable of beating them both.

^Whoa, is she still around? Btw, I totally dig leather pants but probably I'd pass that.

Ahaha, Ali Carter is the man. After this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=X-kbwN77ohA#t=2975s) shot of Carter, Trump went on having two fouls. For 3rd shot he changes his strategy, put on an incredible long pot, then black, but after the black he couldn't spot a red so he went for a safety shot and hit an amazing fluke. He didn't show any sign of excuse unlike as generally players do when they make a lucky shot as of he meant to do it. After that Carter sarcastically applauds him.

Snooker may seem boring but if want to get into game and concentrate to do so like putting yourself watching 5-6 frames consecutively, the gestures from players like this are great rewards.

Wow, Maguire ended first session with domineering 7-1 against Hendry. I wasn't expect Hendry to win 13 frames against him but I hoped he'd be more competent. Still rooting for him to have at least 6-7 frames.

Hendry stated he'll be retiring after suffering 13-2 lost. Not that surprising at all since he won his last ranking title in 2005, I'm glad he went out in style with that 147. Not sure how long Ronnie or Higgins will be around but I hope Robertson/Maguire/Stevens/Selby won't left all the glory to Trump.

Oh, and I'm still desperately hoping that someone will come up and indicate his/her enjoyment of the game.
