I really liked that Rage and Grace was released with a cardboard case. Always been a fan of those. I do wish it was slightly bigger, it's a bit too slim, but otherwise, cool. Will the new album have a cardboard case or plastic?

I dont care that much, I will buy the new album, as always, I will listen to it only once-twice before I download it and put the original into the shelf with all the other originals.

I'm all about cardboard packaging. 1) It's lighter and takes up less space 2) it's way more environmental, 3) crystal cases break like crazy and look like shit after a couple years, 4) they just look nicer. I hope they go for the same again.

crystal cases break like crazy and look like shit after a couple yearsCardboard usually looks like shit after months. That is if you stack 'em between your other CD's and take 'em with you a lot.

Not sure which I prefer, depends on the artwork too. I think the new artwork would look the best on cardboard.

Digipack is my preferred format but I'd go for cardboard over plastic, its lighter and easier to store.

I personally fond of vinyl's stuff, like retro stuff, old fashioned vintage cars etc. My little offspring-ish stuff collection still embracing it's natural beauty. :D

What are you people doing with your CD cases? I have never broken a CD case, unless intentionally. Do you not take care of you belongings?

One of mine broke while it was being shipped. Besides that, my CDs are all good. I don't understand why these people break theirs either :)
