I was just thinking about how "fire" is a big lyrical theme in this album.* And I think that really captures the feeling of this album. In comparison, "rain" was very recurrent in RAFRAG.**

I wonder if this was intentional in the making of both albums? Even if it's accidental, it's kind of neat to think of this as RAFRAG's counterpart or a sort of 'response' to that album's overall mood.

*Songs: "Future," "Secrets," "Dividing," and "Slim Pickens" off the top of my head
**Songs: "Half-Truism," "A Lot Like Me," "Kristy," "Fix You"

DGB is a much darker album, that's for sure. RFRG tried to be dark, but didn't quite manage it.

I never thought about that. There's a chance that it's not a coincidence.

i think rafrag is more dark but both are nowhere near as dark as the first offspring album

That's definitely interesting. What about land--eartthquake and air--wind? :d

I lean into the wind. Feet up in the air. Splinter and Defy You. Secrets from the underGROUND.

It is also cool that the cover of RAFRAG is red as opposed to rain, and the DGB one is blue as opposed to fire. ;)
