Blitzkrieg Bop?
I am an idiot. I'm going to go on a walk of shame. I can't believe I forgot that.:(

I don't recall anything about baseball bats in Blitzkrieg Bop.

Beat on the Brat?

Yes. I was asking specifically about the "shoot 'em in the back" line.

I think they may be referencing Sublime in OC Guns. I don't know the official lyrics yet, but it sounds like they're singing:

"Punk ass gonna get it all right/OC Guns gonna come out tonight"

Which may be referring to Sublime's "Santeria:"

"Best believe me when I say that I got something for his punk ass."

From now on, I'm calling "OC Guns" "Sanchito's Revenge."

I'd say the baseball bat is a reference to the The Warriors' Baseball Furies hehehe

For some reason this movie came to mind the first time I heard OC Guns.

Here's what I am talking about.

Wow, just wow. You know Ramones from them being mentioned by The Offspring?

I noticed this Ramones thing too. What can I say? Noodles even agrees with me (http://twitter.com/offspring/statuses/148833721045368832), Ramones just rocks.

There's also this on The Future Is Now:
"Flashback 1984
Now whos knock-knocking at your door?"

Could this be a reference to Dead Kennedys' "California bes Alles"? Cool 2 Hate 681 pointed that out to me once.

Hi Gus one of my good of friends of this board! I agree even after hearing it alive prior to the album leaking , I remembered the DK song when hearing that phrase. Dont forget they've played that with FSU (Offspring+Biafra)

I get a very Sublime feel from this song, which is probably why I enjoy it so much.

Of course it's a reference to that song. It's obvious.

I would say it's a reference to that song, i can't see why it wouldn't be.
