I think it was Jim Lindberg. I believe he does the low harmony of "whoa-oh-oh" at the end of Never Gonna Find Me too.

I does not at all sound like Jim. Too high. Nor like Davey, even if he could have made it. It might just be Dexter himself.

You're right about 1:30. I didn't bother checking the song the first time. But I do think Jim does the "Hey."

By the way I can't hear any noodles backing vocals in the album ..
