I'm only a couple of minutes in, but I love that kids' music was such an influence on them. It has been a big part of my musical life as well. It's just funny to hear them say it.

I laughed so hard at 8:10 when Dexter talks about Turning Japanese and goes, "Fuck!!"

You know those pple who does videos on youtube for a living? Like vidolog and stuff? They should definetly do something similar. Pple who doesn't like their music will at least like that. They're very fun together these guys.

This was awesome :D

It seems they really like this new album. I'm not really sure if I'd call it their most diverse album yet, that title might go to RAFRAG. It's a bit hard to decide, there is always lots of diversity on The Offspring records, which is deffinitely a plus, but at the same time (just like Noodles said) everything still sounds like them. But an even bigger plus is the energy in their songs, and this album has tons of it. I'm really loving the fast, punk songs from the album, some of them are their best in years, and at the same time they tried out a few different things to spice things up. It's a perfect combo, majority of songs are faster and energetic, coupled with a few that change the direction a bit. So as long as they keep this level of energy, they can keep mixing things up, as far as I'm concerned :D

edit: I'd also like to add that Days Go By really does seem as kind of a "history" of the band, even though it was unintentional. I like the fact that in a way it really represents what this band is :)

I agree. I could watch them talk for hours. They need to do more podcasts. This video was hilarious. With all that make-up, Dexter looked amazing! Maybe he's naturally looking better now as well.
