Thanks a lot .. dexter's voice sounds great ... I really like days go by live more than studio version :D

-Days Go By goes very well live, sounds better live than on the album I think.
-Very quick recover from Pete at 1:37 for losing/broken his drum stick. :D Used right hand on one snare hit instead of crash and then back in business again.
-Noodles' yellow ear monitors dominates.
-Greg does his job always as cool as what.

I'd do only one difference on the live version, during the silent (2:35) part I'd use hi-hat with my leg, not with hand. Makes too much sound used with a hand hitting of drums compared to the sound dynamic.

Great performance, the crowd sucked. Is it just me or did the play a little bit faster than usual?

They probably played more, the official Jimmy Kimmel channel is only showing two though...

Thanks for that! :)

Days Go By is better live. I hate the fade out on the album version, I wish it ended the same way that they end it when they play it live. :(

Everything except The Offspring sucked balls.

Huh? I just listened to it by low volume at my phone, and it sounded really good to me. Of course I got my fingers crossed for Dexter's voice, every band has a bad day, but this surely rocked! I'm just so impressed he still got that kickass high-tone voice after all these years, sounding, yeah actually just as good. Like my father said, "I can't believe his voice is still holding". They pulled it off great, really cool to see them do stuff like this too!

He meant that The Offspring were the only good live act there.

A, sorry, that was dumb of me. I thought he ment "Everything, except The Offspring sucked balls".. So then I thought he just missed to put in "didn't", like "except The Offspring didn't suck balls".

Oh well, it was early in the morning for me - I'll blame it on that, tsss  But yeah it looked awesome, and of what I've heard, sounded awesome aswell. That's some good promoting for sure. Is it like, what, 2 million viewers or something?

And yeah, I like the new logo too. A little bit refreshing!

They were probably a bunch of teenagers who showed up to hear Katy Perry.

Not really the target demographic.

Lol, the crowd would have been more lively if they played Cruisin' California for sure :D

As Eskimo said, it is not a surprise as it is a TV show ;)

Ya know I've never seen them on any late night shows before (i.e. Conan, Jay Leno, David Letterman etc) has anyone else?

For the, like, 8.9362th time, no, they've never done one stateside.

Plenty internationally, especially back when they were relevant in terms of popular stuff. They've just avoided it on purpose in the U.S., they've said a couple of times it bugged them when Green Day and such did it constantly in the few years after punk became all cool and hip.

By now they're probably like "fuck it, we're too old to be posterboys for anything anymore, let's have fun".
