It looks like he is the new singer they just played at KROQ Weenie Roast and debuted a new song called Out Of Time which you can download here http://w2.wikisend.com/node-fs/download/28719765367e25a529412f702ab17b24/stone-temple-pilots-out-of-time.mp3

I didn't see this coming. That's actually the same reaction I had months ago when I first heard that semi-Nirvana reunion with Paul McCartney.

STP are planning to do more shows and even record music with Chester.

What are you? Some kind of retard? These events were so obviously coming. Do other surprises also surprise you, retard?

By stp are we talking about the Stone Temple Pilots? Do they need to have a singer or even new songs?

I thought STP was some kind of disease.

Yes, we are talking about Stone Temple Pilots. And what I mean by "I didn't see this coming" is that I didn't expect both Chester Bennington fronting in STP and Paul McCartney fronting in Nirvana to happen.

Yes, obviously. My point was that your point was redundant because absolutely 0 people were sitting around expecting these things to happen.

Had you been alive in the 90s I'm sure you would've been shocked to learn that Eddie Vedder performed with the Doors once.

According to Scott Weiland, Chester is no longer in STP.

I agree. They were awful with Chester on vocals.

I kind of liked that EP they put out but I don't think they should go and look for a 3rd singer (although I'm sure that's what they are doing)

Core and Purple were about as good as a grunge record could possibly be. But that was over 20 years ago. They've had moments here and there, but they've largely been a shitty band since Weiland decided he wanted to be David Bowie.

Chester Bennington is a good vocalist, and he sounded good singing the STP stuff. But fan bases always reject the new singer - especially if he was involved with another band, and double especially if it was a band they hate - like the body rejecting a new organ. That was never going to work out. I think I've really just lost interest in hard rock, because I'm really not impressed with Highly Suspect (the link said Dean DeLeo asked the vocalist of that band to be a part of STP) or any band similar, even though it sounds like something I would have liked several years ago.

Yeah, that's true. Now that he's dead, we're sadly never gonna see a Stone Temple Pilots or Velvet Revolver reunion with him.
