If you're a hypochondriac that suspects that he/she has hypochondria, is that a step towards a cure or just another symptom of the malady?

Step toward cure, I'd say.

I guess it would make the person even more hypochondriac

*raises hand* I belong to this category. I'd say it was a step towards a cure.

Mota Boy's daily thoughts are fast becoming my favorite part of this board. Soon enough I'll be sending him a check (or money order) for $19.95 so I can get a collection of these thoughts. I especially like today's.

Anyway, tis another symptom of the malady! Suspicion accomplishes nothing, so it's just another sympton. It's not even close to a cure until/unless this something takes action.

Since I just realized I haven't answered the topic yet, I must say I agree. Although I'd rather find a way to steal the thoughts, than to pay.

The first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem.......or is that just for alcoholics and drug addicts?

And paranoia (spelling?) victims.

A very good question! And I'll probably go with the people who say it might be the cure.

As his personal assistant, I must try out to money to make sure it is not poisoned. Email me and I'll tell you all the things my boss wants you to buy for him. Then you can just send them to me and I'll send them to him once I've made sure they're safe.
