I gotta be skimpy on the details now because I have to run and eat with a friend, but look how awesome and emo I was last night:

Nope. Just awake for no good reason and hanging out with some good people.

But there's so many other things we can do now that we couldn't before.
You'll notice that in the before last picture it's pitch black outside, and bright as day in the last picture. Megan and I stayed up till 7:15 watching SLC Punk because we suck at life :[

Cute hair, but how do you run and eat?

sKratch
03-13-2005, 05:57 PM
Yeah I thought SLC Punk changed my life the first time I saw it. Then I grew up . It's a really cool movie but it's not as deep when you're 19 as when you're 15. My friend Megan had never seen it though.
That's weird because my roommate just mentioned The Office over dinner as a show he'd like to watch because it's great.

As to running and eating, it's an ability I've been practicing for several years.

Yeah, but it was fun having straight hair. I looked like swamp thing or something... And it led to a good night of staying up.

If you guys didn't look at the picture from after I woke up, I highly recommend it. I look so much like an anime character.
I still can't get over how my hair magically curls back again after I wash it... I'd be rather upset if it didn't ;o

I prefer my hair curly as well :]

The morning after shot reminds me of Keanu Reeves circa Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Luckily, those glasses are not mine. We just realized the emoness of my hair and needed them for a pose. Vlad I asked this before but I forgot where and I don't know if you answered: What does your sig mean / where's it from?

The quote itself (slightly modified) comes from a book I read few months back - 1968: the year that rocked the world by Mark Kurlansky. It talks of multiple world-wide protests erupting nearly simultaneously by students, among them Polish students. Because the students had no designated leaders, Polish government, among them the most zealous communists (forget the names), had decided to label this a Zionist conspiracy and hold the Jewish members at fault over the protests. Fueled by hate and envy at Israel due to their victory only a year earlier and combined with the rize of anti-semitism, the Polish government had encouraged all Jewish-Poles to leave the country by offering them viza to Israel. The already depleted Polish Jewry had at least a third of its people emigrate in the following years.

I just liked the dialogue because the question of Jewish identity--among other groups scattered around namely the Gipsies, Moors, Kurds--has been often invoked whenever convenient. Sometimes they were Jewish, sometimes they were Polish, and sometimes they were Jewish-Poles.
