Coma woman intervention 'illegal'
Doctors say Terri is in a persistent vegetative state.
Florida Governor Jeb Bush acted illegally by intervening to keep a brain-damaged woman alive against her husband's wishes, a court has ruled.

it's so stupid. how could millions of american people decide for one woman to stay alive (even if she doesn't want it herself  )

it the parent that are cruel they are the one who want to keep the poor woman alive
it wouldnt even be pain ful just a quick sharp blow with an axe
only kidding they would use an over dose of anathetic so it would be like falling asleep no pain

I think they should let her die with some dignity. I can understand the parents want to keep her alive, want to believe that she can be well again, but the sort of damage she has is very extensive, and as they sadi, a miracle of God would have to repair the parts of her brain that are damaged for her to be able to function again.
Wouldn't it be better for them to remember her as she was before the heart attack? Now all they are going to have for memories is the court cases and her in the midst of it all, not caring.

Thats horrible. WHy should we continue to let her suffer? I'm sure she would rather have them pull the plug than have to put up with suffering everyday!!!

truly, at this point, they only need to know her preferred salad dressing.

indeed. the only thing i hate about st patricks day, is the fact that the "official" meal seems to be corned beef and cabbage. i cant stand either of them.

I saw a bunch of yahoo headlines concerning the event but hadn't the slightest clue what the hell it's all about until I caught a little glimpse of evening news from parent's place yesterday. The one sentance I let loose right away was "why the fuck is this making national news?".

very true. i feel bad for her. but she really should be able to just die, but in peace, ie euthanasia.
