View Full Version : Connection?

All of you diehard fans may know this but is there a connection between songs like "Gone away", "The End of The Line", ect.?

Also, is Dexter a pyro as said in "Burn it up" (Ignition)?

i dont no about the 1st one but no Dexters not a pyro . half the time in the songs when he says me , i, im hes usually not refeering 2 himself. hes being a different person in the song.

i dont think they would write 2 songs about the same thing

Yeah I noticed that! I suppose it's quite good- it's like it's making a comeback, a little bit of Ignition has sneaked into Americana!

So you KNOW hes not a pyro? or your basing that on the fact that its usually not about him?

ok if he was a pyro he would be in jail by now...maybe. considering hes smart as hell he might find a way to not get arrested

As in my thread a month or so ago.

I think your confusing pyro and arsonist.

Basically: An arsonist likes big fires, people dying, getting paid.

A pyro (like me) likes to set things on fire that wont get you into sh!t, like your own property or your arm or something. :) Ahh the fondness of junior high when i would write messages in the sidewalk using Axe and lighting it on fire.

Well, Alpha. He wrote Bad Habit, and he doesn't kill half the people on the road he sees. He wrote Beheaded, and he didn't chop off the heads of his parents, girlfriend, and dozens of people he didn't even know. He wrote Special Delivery, and he doesn't stalk people (I am pretty sure that's what that song is about). He wrote One Fine Day and he doesn't go around blowing up cars and fighting random people. So I am gonna guess that even though he wrote Burn it Up, he doesn't light random things on fire.

As for the Connection between the songs, I dunno. But Never Gonna Find me and Lightning Rod seem to be roped together.

No,l of course he doesnt stalk people...

I read somewhere that gone away was about his girlfriend/wife (not sure) dieing from drug overdose, and end of the line is the second chapter of gone away.
