I love Metroid Fusion and The Wind Waker. As well as Ocarina of Time. Other games I love include Golden Sun, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Resident Evil 4. Video games are the greatest things in existence!!!!! :D

yeah, I think it's pratically the most perfect game ever made. I can't think of a single tedious or annoying part in it!

Only one I can think of....its where you keep falling down a dark hole in this never ending cave thingy...that scream he has gets annoying after awhile. But that is it! Besides that it's flawless.

Oh yeah. I never went down further than the 30th floor. I bet it does get hella annoying for the 96th fucking time.

Yeah it sure does. But that is it! Awesome game and I hope the new one is just as good.

The graphics look amazing especially for gamecube.

ruroken
03-27-2005, 06:14 PM
Gamecube is actually extremely powerful. Have you seen the graphics for Resident Evil 4? They're just as incredible!

Trip Boy
03-27-2005, 06:17 PM
No I haven't, I'll have to check that out too.

ruroken
03-27-2005, 06:18 PM
It's great! When you blow up heads, even the cartilledge (is that how you spell it?) sprays out!! It's so cool.

Another aspect of the trailer that stood out was a number of The Lord of the Rings-inspired touches, which we have to say will be a great fit for the Zelda experience.

Yes, of course. Miyamoto will outdo himself with this new work of his.

There's simply no denying that The Legend of Zelda is going to be one hell of a title for the GameCube this year.

ruroken
03-27-2005, 06:23 PM
It may very well be the most perfect game that will ever exist.

The Wind Waker is a strong achievement in every way, from its stunning graphical presentation to its tight control and interesting story line.

ruroken
03-27-2005, 06:28 PM
As well as it's amazing innovations! Such as the boomerang's 5 target, the leaf thing, wind control, etc.

Trip Boy

Your talking boat will basically guide you through the game, and you'll use a sail, a sea chart, and the wind waker's ability to change the direction of the wind to move from island to island.

ruroken

As well as how you fight Ganondorf. Epic.

Trip Boy

At the start, The Wind Waker's story feels really separate from any of the previous Zelda games, though it ends up tying into the rest of the series pretty well.

Have you played with Link's starting outfit yet? I find that it makes the replay value go even higher than it already is.

Trip Boy
03-27-2005, 06:44 PM
No I haven't yet.

ruroken
03-27-2005, 06:46 PM
Oh well. I also like the tag team dungeons.

I like controling seagulls. I just wish they could go farther...

The Wind Waker makes fantastic use of the GameCube's ability to link up to the Game Boy Advance.

I haven't tried that yet. I'm going to next week though.

Much has been said about The Wind Waker's cartoonlike, cel-shaded look, which was initially met with quite a bit of skepticism when it debuted some time ago. That skepticism is completely unfounded, though, as this new entry in the series looks absolutely amazing. What seems like a relatively simple look on the surface is revealed to be quite complex pretty early on, as the game begins to show off some of its facial animation techniques.

Yeah, I like the faces he makes when he's launched from the catapult! :D

I love Metroid Fusion and The Wind Waker. As well as Ocarina of Time.

I thought Wind Waker was absolute crap (sorry!) - it's not a touch on ocarina of time or majoria's (sp?) mask! Those games are/were amazing. And Goldeneye, also on the N64, has got to be one of the greatest games ever made! I still play it all the time. :D

One of the greatest games of all time, except for the part where you have to sail all the damn time...gets repetetive.

Trip Boy

Not if you get the chime to warp to the places. Besides the sailing is peacefull.

I love FREE camera angle while I sail because it makes it feel like a test video or something.

Wind Waker would have been a masterpiece if it wasn't so amazingly easy. My god, that was too easy. Still I love it.

But saying that Zelda and Metroid kick ass is like saying that the sky is blue, wisconsinhomer is desperate for Internet attention, or theGoddess is hot. Everyone knows it already.

Fanboyism has no place here, or on any website without the word "game" in it.

And for future reference, it has no place in the real world either, genius.

Golden Sun truly is a masterpiece, by the way. Both of them. GodFUCK I love that game!

Golden Sun is indeed. But Lost Age is fucking annoying with those four shit goddamn rock places where you have to do a bunch of bullshit!! Oh, Lemurians EXISTED!!! It's quite interesting, I suggest you read about it.

JohnnyNemesis
03-28-2005, 04:40 PM
I said both of them because I love both of them. I know all about Lost Age and all that ish too man, as I've completely beaten both games. If you ask me, part 2 is way better than part 1...

Gotta love the Lemurians.

ruroken
03-28-2005, 04:44 PM
I like Legend of Dragoon A LOT. Lemurians are cool. The game would've been better if there was a faster way to travel than by fucking boat. Have you beaten Dullahan? I beat him at level 53, with only 5 HP left. It's was fucking kick ass. It's a llooooooonnnnnngggggg story, and I don't feel like typing it....

JohnnyNemesis
03-28-2005, 04:57 PM
Haha, yeah, traveling by boat is annoying.

Dullahan is fucking INSANE. I don't remember how I beat him, but I remember being relieved when that battle was all over.

ruroken
03-28-2005, 05:00 PM
It feels so fucking great to have finally beaten him when you do though! But the reward is hardly worth it... :(
