View Full Version : Hair straighteners
I'm gonna become truely metrosexual and purchase some because I look fucking awesome with longer hair but it goes all curly when dry. So what would you fellow gays/girls recommend?

my girlfriend straightened her hair a couple of weeks ago and actually left the chemical that relaxes your hair in for a bit too long and it burnt her scalp :(

i'd say ghds, but if you ownt use em loads then its a bit of a waste of money.
i have 2 sets of straighteners, some ceramic, and some that are metal steam giving things.. my hair isn't really curly, but i find that the ceramic ones take ages to heat up and then don't straighten my hair properly.. the metal ones with steam seem to work fine. so i'd say ghds (but they're £100+) or steamy ones..
gf = lauara or kris? or a new one?

I used to use the ceramic kind, it heated up quickly enough for me.
Haha awesome Ninth is a metro too.
i've heard the ghd's are the best kind.
i myself have a cheap phillips one...it will make your hair look naturally straight (you saw my pic, right?)

I just have ridiculous grooming habits. When my hair was longer I straightened it because it has a slight wave to it once it gets below eye level.
Yeah I 'saw' (=jacked) over your pic ;-)
I'm gonna use them on my pubes too, see if it works down low. THat would be funny. Straight pubes. Wtf.
now i feel crazy for hysterically laughing out loud.
honestly, that would be freaking painful...because, well, it gets HOT, you know. and, like, the hair down there is...short. ahahahaha.
I think I cound a niche in the market. Mini pube straightners.
