Fresh out of grad school, ready to start a successful career as an English Professor and/or a Latino Literary and Cultural Studies Professor.

If not, I'll be at home scratching my balls. Either way, fuck it, I'm happy.

I don't know. I hope I'll travel often and that I'll have a good job. As long as I'm happy, it's okay with me.

In ten years i will be 22. Probably have a nice house pretty close to this neiborhood, because i have moved twice and this is the only place that doesnt smell like shit. I like it here. Maybe get a job in advertisment.

Endymion
04-13-2005, 07:27 PM
you'll be 22, you'll probably have a pretty crappy job and you'll *hopefully* be in college. you won't be in a house unless it's your parents'.

Tired_Of_You
04-13-2005, 07:38 PM
Maybe not. Depending on what I'd study, at 22 I could have finished university.

HornyPope

I don't think a house at 22 years is unattainable. I'm contemplating buying one in fact, if I decide that this is the best course of action for me.

and for the record, i'm 21 now.

JohnnyNemesis

Yeah, it's hard to tell. My girlfriend finished at 22, but I'm 21 and I'm smack in the middle.

One thing I've learned is that it really is never too late for education for people who aren't lazy. It's a different deal altogether for those who have started their own family and such, but I'm a high school dropout who spent 3 years doing NOTHING with my life. Now I'm on my way to one of the most prestigous schools in the US because I kicked, scratched, and clawed my way to this point.

The truth, as trite as this seems, is that intelligent people who work hard are always recognized in some way. The recognition is obviously different for different people, but it's always going to be there, whether you appreciate the source or not.
Forgive my slightly off topic rant there. I just had some things to get off of my chest.
